History of Jake Wellington & the Soldiers of Peace
Jake is a questioner of our times, confused and demanding. What is life? Why are we here? All the usual questions but more, much more: like who are these people governing us - misleading us - controlling us - and why the hell are we letting them? Jake sings songs that he stole from Bob Dylan, who nicked them from Woody Guthrie, who lifted them from someplace else. He is continuing the dying tradition of the protest singer. He's angry and he's focused and with his band he explores the chaotic landscape we've been born into and tries to give it some meaning.
